Is it just me or does this sound weirdly strange?

I realized, just now, that I should have studied something that has to do with computer programming or so! Not for any reason related to computer programming…. but seriously, what was I thinking building a career that requires, first of all, human interaction, and second, compliance with “normal” human behavior ?
